DefaultBetter sights and flashlight mount on a budget!

Hello folks,

I am new to this forum. Happen to be surfing around and found this site. You guys seem pretty cool, so I thought I'd ask some questions you may be able to help me with.
I have a new Mossberg 590 Marine 12 ga. The bead sight on it is not to good. I want to put a better bead or ghost ring sight system on it, but I don't have a lot of money to throw around. Plus, I want to add a flashlight mounting system as well. Just want to use it for home defense and survival protection. I had a good look at Brownells and they recommended a couple of good choices for a bead sight that were only $35. I live in New Zealand now (last place of posting South Carolina) and the shipping costs more than the sight. Some of the web sites I visited in the States don't ship overseas, so if you have any suggestions, it will have to be a site that does (I'll research it). When I do buy what I need, I'd rather pay one shipping cost as you would understand.
Anyway, any good suggestions, besides duct taping a flashlight to the barrel?

Regards, Doug

Hi...drop by the intro section and introduce yourself, might get a few more responses that way. In the meantime you can try this site, lots of just the type of thing you are looking for.

How about something like these?

Just kidding. I installed Mossberg factory ghostring sights on mine. I don't have a flashlight mount though.

hey there mate

So you've up and invaded my homeland eh?

I'd recommend Gun City - Home Page - Paintball, GUNCITY, GUN CITY, GUN SHOP, christchurch, ...

they are nationwide but are centred in christchurch.

there is not much you could think of that they dont have, and they are where i've got all of my extensive modifications too. check it out

Hope the weather up there is better than down here, some summer.
