They had a little better than cabella's but they were getting both getting trucks in the next day they said. lots of empty spaces.

Well, seeing as you used the word cheap, there are the Mossberg 500, and the H&R Pardner. Both inexpensive and fun to shoot. I know `cause I have one of each.

I think it's impossible to go to any gun shop in the country and not find a well used, single shot shotgun for under one hundred dollars. If you want the cheapest available, this is the choice. I got a 20 gauge New England Arms 20 gauge for 75 bucks, and it is a shooter.

Thanks. The wood's finish is wearing off, there is some light surface rust , and the color case hardening looks like it was done crapily, but it's still a beautiful gun for the money. By the way, do you have a youtube channel under your name, "22 Plinkster" ?it sounds familiar.

Mossberg 500 for a couple of reasons...I bought mine as my first shotgun, still shoot it often and it's as good as new...and the second reason. Get a Midway catalog and open it up to any page and you will probably find parts for the Mossberg.

I just picked a used 500 20ga for 199.00 should be fine once I get it home
