I am currently researching shotguns for my next gun purchase. I'm torn between a Benelli Supernova and a Remington 870 Express Super Magnum Synthetic. Both look great and both have a plethora of configurations.
The main use will be for home defense, followed very closely by deer hunting and maybe duck hunting.
I am still very new to shotguns and would like personal opinions from fellow members whom have experience with either.

IF you can afford it, it would be MUCH better to have dedicated shotgun decked out with pistol grip or folding stock (top folder on mine), along with extended magazine tube, sidesaddle shell carrier, etc as home defense shotgun (Remington 870), and an Browning bps for hunting. Changing stocks and mag tube all the time is a REAL PIA.
