I knw personally that Tim can bust clays with any gun made, but benneli pays him good enough to shoot their's. benelli is were it is if i was looking for semiauto, but whn it comes to a pump gun the 870 is hands down the best...

So, you're telling me that, side by side, an 870 will out-perform a Nova? And you're telling me that price doesn't make the 870 so popular? My benelli's are cadillac's compared to ANY 870(Yugo) out there.

If you have your mind set on thoese 3 then id go with the remington just cuz they are tanks, Or maybe you might consider the mossberg 590 as it and the 500 are pretty much the only ones who past the military's retarded abusive test of duribility, hence why the army uses the 500 and will in the near future never replace them, I have a 590 at the moment and wouldnt sell it for nothing(but the AA12)

I don't care what cheap price you put something at, if it's junk no one will buy it. Not only price, but reliability, quality, dependability to name a few qualities makes the 870 so popular.
For one thing, no gun is magical the user's talents will make a certain gun prevail. If Tom Knapp had a Remmy 870 & I had a Benelli Nova...yes, an 870 will out perform a Nova.
A 870 is a classic design. Period. Benellis are not. Apples to apples, oranges to oranges. Again, I'm not knocking Benellis, there a great gun.

I own a 870, and a nova pump, their both great but I find myself shooting the benelli more than the 870 I would have to give the nod to the benelli.

It's been a toss up between Remingtion & Benelli; personal preference.
I know one thing for sure, I wouldn't recommend a Tristar!!

yes, benellis are much better guns, with a much higher price tag to go with it.

out of the 3, id chose the remington. perfect balance of quality and price.

I own a benelli nova pump, and a remington 870, Ive never had no problems with my 870, but the benelli is my favorite.
