Benelli Nova Pump

Hello,

A buddy of mine is offering his Benelli Nova 12 Guage pump to me for 200$.

Is this a good price?

Another question, The chokes for this Nova state...No steel shot. Does that me no steel shot for this firearm or I need different chokes for steel shot?

Thanks,
Doug

How many rounds does he have through it? What's the over all condition? Have you fired it yourself and do you like the recoil system?

150 rounds top. The firearm is in great condition. There are only a few minor scratches from brush while turkey hunting. I have yet to fire it but I just picked it up to take out to the range tomorrow.

I was wrong about the camo, it is black synthetic. He is also including a neoprene cover for the stock, Made by Beartooth products. The stock cover holds 4 shells on the side.

If the weapon is in good shape, and you like the recoil system, because Benelli uses a unique system, then I would say it's definitely worth the $200. On line they are going for anywhere from $300 to $350 new with the black stock.

I am afraid I am not the best guy to ask about the steel shot, I will have to defer to the forum.

If it's in good shape, I'd jump on it for that price. I have a Nova and Super Nova and have since sold all my other brand shotguns. Just be prepared for the awesome kick of a 3 1/2' shell out of a relatively lightweight Nova. OUCH!!

I sell the standard Nova for 269 new, if its the super nova then it might be worth it
