Benelli M4 Super 90 vs Beretta Xtrema2

I am currently in the market for a new shotgun and have narrowed it down to these two. I would like to get feedback from the folks here as to which you would prefer.

I realize these are 2 very different type of shotguns, but after shopping around for a couple of weeks, these matched me best. Price isn't a huge concern but I don't care to spend any extra dollars unless it is worth it (The Benelli is a few hundred bucks more expensive). Additionally, I like the looks of the Benelli a bit more (my wife thinks it looks "Sexier"..for whatever that is worth) but I like the ability to load more rounds into the Beretta. I also found very little recoil with the xtrema2 vs the M4 which had very significant recoil.

Thanks for your time and input, this will be the family's first shotgun!

I had the same decision to make with the same brands and I ended up with Beretta ONLY because it fits me better than the Benelli. Fit is the biggest consideration when buying a high end shotgun. At that price range they are all good and you can't go wrong with either gun.
