Default A bargain

My son doesn't own a shotgun and he was hinting that he'd sure like one. Due to his physical condition, I figured a 20 gauge would serve him best. As luck would have it, a fella on a local forum put up a Remington 870 Express 20 gauge Magnum today for the decent price of $175.

Yeah, I picked it up this evening. Jeez, being a Dad gets expensive but it's worth it...

The conversation will probably go something like this:

Son "Mom, Dad has this Benelli shotgun he doesn't use much."

Wife/Mom "Give Brian that goofy shotgun you don't use much."

At least I'll have a decent 870...

I don't really know why, as I can see that going on in a few years here with all the neices/nephews we have, but I was literally laughing out loud when I read that.

You're still a hell of a man Charlie Brown. *respect*

It's an ugly parked 870. I did find a short barrel for it on GB this morning so I threw a bid on it...

I was the only bidder on the GB auction so I got a nice parked 18.5 inch barrel for it - and it has the screw in chokes. My son actually really liked the old 12 gauge 870 beater I had so it looks like I keep the 20 gauge...
