Look at the shell I got in a box of 25... Glad I didn't try shooting it. Maybe it would've shot fine, but who knows with that messed up brass?!?

i bet if you take that one shell to the store youll get a new box free. or you can call the company and complain and if there a good brand they will probly replace it with a box as well

I agree, Take it back to the store AND send a letter/e-mail to Remington. They will make good.

I purchased a case of Fiocchi 5 shot Golden Pheasants this fall ahead of upland game season. Finding quite a few slightly over crimped shells where the upper end is swelled. My Benelli SBEII will not run them, unless freshly cleaned and well oiled. Was able to buy the shells at a bargin price, so wil just work around them, but was suprised that Fiocchi had this issue. Other than the slightly swelled shells the gun will run any shells I have used.

I just took the opportunity to cut the top off and examine a shell first hand. I'd only seen drawings/pics of how they are loaded before, so i used the bad shell as an educational tool. It's tossed now that it's in pieces...

But, yeah, Remington should owe me a new shell in a perfect world!!!
