In the last 3yrs every purchase for me has been delayed. My last one was a couple months ago when I bought a T/C Venture. They called within 24hrs and approved like they always do but for some reason Im always delayed. Kind of a running joke at my LGS. It doesn't bother me but before that I had never been delayed. Strange.

In the last 3 years I have been delayed 3 times, always less than 24 hrs. Today was about an hour.

Only been approved immediately one time in the last 3 years. Seriously considering going the UPiN route. Just need to figure out that process.

I have never been delayed. I do have a common name, not as common as smith or jones. It could be I have been checked so many times they know my name and address when they see it.

Nothing to worry about, just a delay. Giving your social security number can expedite the background check. A concealed carry permit can help, too.
No it doesn't help I have had a CWP for 20 years and I get delayed every time I buy A firearm it does not matter what it is handgun or long gun.

A friend of mine that is a sheriff's deputy for Mesa County was delayed recently. All of his co-workers had a good laugh about it.
