Is it a B25?
5 Attachment(s)
Dear fellow sportsman,

A call from Antwerp, Belgium.

I have noticed a lot of expertise on this site.

Although I am around in the shooting world for some time, I am still to be considered as a beginner, as for as clay-shooting is concerned.

May I therefore kindly request for some information on a over/under browning shotgun, cal .12.
This gun is offered to me as a B25. Can this be the right type?
I will post together with this text the pictures I have received. (I did not see the gun myself, due to distance, an I would like to buy it.)
Sr. Nr.: 37305 S 5

Thanks in advance for your advice,

I have no idea what it is, but the wood on it is beautiful.

How's it shoot? Is the action still nice and crisp?

That is a nice looking O/U, well the best that the pic's would allow. How much is the fellow asking for it if you dont mind us asking?

If I were you I would like to see better photographs and some close up ones of the bore and breach area, before you say "sold"

Thank you very much for your answers.

The guy is asking approx. 850.00 us dollar for it.
Unfortunately, these are the only pictures I have, the gun is on a 4 hours drive from my home, so I did not yet see or shot it.
The seller tells me, there is some light rust in the barrels.
Only I am not sure if it is a B25 (It is an Belgian made F.N. for sure, from Herstal, Liege.)

OMG HOLLY SNIKES BATMAN. YOu better buy it NOW. If it is a Belgium Browning then buy it fast. The best brownings come from your country. You boys sure know how to build a shotgun and put some nice wood on it.

A Browning like that would go for $1500+ here in the states.

Thank you.
Normally it is sold to me. Only I am not sure if it is a B25.
They made a lot of types here, and if I could see if the forewood stay attached to the barrels, when taken apart, Then I knew.
The paperwork is started up anyway. (I have a few other brownings here, amongst them a B325 an a double automatic twelvette).
