AOW Question
 

Suppose one has a registered pistol gripped shotgun AOW and puts on a regular stock set. Does it become a Short Barreled Shotgun or is it once an AOW, always an AOW?

It would then become a short barreled shotgun requiring a seperate tax stamp.

AOW is the registration class for a short barrelled shotgun that is manufactured as such (not cut down). It won't matter what kinid of stock it has. You can get scattergun technologies short barrelled shotguns that are made that way and are registered AOW. It all depends on how it was first made.
