Im looking at either the 500 or the 535 which is why I was asking about the 3 1-2" Prolly gonna go for the 535 if I can find one for the right price....

Just keep in mind you can't interchange barrels with the 500, and 835 if you choose the 535. Still an excellent shotgun though.

Update...I purchased a Mossberg 500 Field model today...Got the shotgun, 3 different chokes, hard case, cleaning kit, and 2 boxes of shells for $350...going to the range on Saturday to test fire!!
