Default 1800's 12 Ga. shot shell

While tilling my garden I came across what I thought was just a solid piece of copper. I all most thru it in bayou. Glad I didn't, Shot gun shell still has ledgable markings. It was made by Climax and either 000 or oo Buck. Also found 1890 canadien penny. It stops and make you wonder what was shot with this shell, or who. Wills in da swamp in La. One shot One kill.....

I don't think they even made 000 buck until the 70's or 80's. 00 was the biggest commercially available before the turn of the century. Pics PLEASE!!!

Yes we need pictures! If you can get them, that is definitely worth a look and imagine if you got a metal detector after that spot. You might find the gun that shell belongs to!

Some old shells, even the brass, are worth a little cash.
