Default 12 gauge 11-87 super mag

I just got a brand new 11-87 super mag and for some reason every few shots it doesn't fully push the next shell all the way into the chamber.. any ideas why it would be doing that?? Im using 2 3/4 inch shells.

Probably not broken in yet. Fire a hundred or so rounds through it including some 3 1/2" loads to do so.

11-87 super mags like to be clean and they like to be lubricated. As noted, they also need to be broken in. Shoot, clean, & repeat. A well maintained 11-87 is as reliable as any semiautomatic shotgun made and I'd sooner have one than any inertia system
