Default For when a "mini" version just won't cut it....

I spend a lot of trigger time on my Mini-14 cause it is cheap to shoot and a real blast but sometime you just want to play with the big toys.....

I did a couple additions to my pre-ban Federal Ordnance M-14 so I thought I would share

Added an M-2 style bi-pod, Redfield 3x9x40 revolution scope, and Springfield side mount. Can't wait to get it out to the range!!!

Jim...........
It is a non-functional faux switch kit that is there only to complete the look of the original rifle.

That will work. Being retired LEO, I would hate to have to try to explain it to an LEO that is not familiar with the M-14/M1A and it's function when he/she gets handcuff happy. It does look good and finishes off the rifle.

Yeah, I don't look good in cuffs

Here is the kit - www.sparrowhawkm14.com/id10.html
I think it really snazes up the M-14 SA rifle!

wow! i like your rifle and am very jealous. but seriously, very nice looking rifle. looking at yours, just makes me want another one realy bad. have been looking at getting another Springfield M1A. might get one later on when i get a few projects finished and free up some money for one. i called my gun dealer and he said he could get the standard M1A for me for about $1350 + tax. might look into getting one after the first of the year. good luck and enjoy it.
