For that price point I dont think one can complain, Now if they were sold at $900-1,000 then there is room to complain.
Best of luck!
Have you considered building an AR15? I have built two for $600.00 each.

I have a HI-Point 9mm carbine and it is a good gun and alot of fun to shoot. I have never had a bad experience with HI-Point they are made in the U.S.A, and have a great warrenty. For the price buy one and have some fun!

They seem to be all over a local classified site for $180-360
Classifieds for Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming - ksl.com
There are some AR's and other rifles in the mix.
Again best of luck

Looking to get one myself. Funny thing about the Neg. feedback you see on them on several boards is interesting. I find most is just . I know a guy who....
Go and try one. they are fantastic little carbines and the only problem with them I have found is Mag capacity. But according to rumor they are going to come out with 15 rounders soon. You wont have any problem with them, and if ya do they really have thier act together at the company with CS.
I used to feel that for 300 bucks what can I get? It surely cant be quality, and has to be junk. But I was wrong. I fired my first Hi-Point in Dec. and it was the 9mm carbine and now I know it is on my short list of things to get.
So as usual. If ya like it, run with it and have fun.
