Deadman Love the barrel stabilizer you have there. Need to get one for mine. Oh and a tripod to boot. I just realized looking at your that I installed the cheek pad backwards.

Thanks Doc. Hit up KMO on here, tell him I said to cut you a deal. He's probably got a pile of them made up to fit your gun already. So, how are you liking the ATI stock?

Ha, you're the only one to notice I turned the cheek rest around backwards. It fits my long neck better... yours is on correct.

I like it so far but haven't had a chance to go to the range. I was given the red/green dot from Shihan and i think it will work well. By the way I looked it up, my cheek pad is installed correctly. My prob with the rod right now is the 80 plus dollar price.

thanks for the all the pics, those are some awsome looking weapons. i really am torn now, hell i may end up with both. i've only got room for 1 more in my safe, so i will be needing a new one of those too. the next gun show that is in nashville i am going to look around and see what they have. seems everytime i go i end up with a new toy, and it's always from someone walking around trying to sell their own stuff. i will post pics on here when i make a purchase.

Ending up with both is definitely the answer to this one! If that is a possibility, then go for it. But which one to buy first is an interesting question. It probably depends on what you see as the highest of your needs. Varminting? Target shooting? Plinking? Self defense? SHTF prep?

Each of these two weapons shines in different areas.

more than likely varminting and target, i don't see useing it for self defence unless a bunch of camel jockeys come tearing down the road. i think i'm going see what kind of deal i can find. i am usually very patient and find the price i am looking for. i am a cheappo.

See, for my purposes, I wouldn't need to hunt small game (we'll call that varminting, but that's the difference between sustenance hunting and pest control) unless and until society imploded, in which case I would need firepower. And for me the AR-15 provides that best, with the ability to varmint/hunt with 55-grain soft points.

All comes down to needs.
