Looks Awesome love Thompson's but they weigh a TON I believe 16-17lbs without ammo.?

They do weigh a ton, a buddy of mine bought one and we took it out and shot it the other day. They don't kick at all though. The only downside is it cost a ton to shoot 'em too.
