Default StG 44 in .22

I saw the latest offering from GSG yesterday. Am StG44 in .22LR! OMG. how freaking cool is that! Looks and feels very much like the original. Feels well made and solid. I freaking HAVE TO HAVE ONE!!!!!

Someone already makes the ppsh in .22. (not sure if I got that right, but the Russian sub gun is what I'm referencing here)
Don't know if it's the same company or not. I hear their quality (as a company overall) is improving immensely too.

I.O. INC makes a repro-PPS-43 and Mitchell's Mausers :eek sells them in .22lr for $495

I bought one since I'm a WWII buff and glad I did. It's definately a niche rifle and not something you're going to take hunting. It's just a fun, quality built 22 with a coolness factor that's off the charts. The only downside is the attention it draws at the range. If you're thinking of buying one I'd get one now before some politician bans importation.
