Well I am glad to hear my gut feeling is dialed in in regards to that, DD is actually my #1 choice right now.

Just remember I'm not an expert by any stretch and your experience may differ.

im sure better can be done with one of these in hands steadier than mine. ive also got a rra upper in 458 socom. its also a superb shooter.

I suggest the bushmaster carbon-15 series, I own one and i have found it to be very dependable, not a whole bunch of jams at all and they are in a decent price range.

Default From Mo Town also

If you have a Cabelas by your house they are having Pre Black Friday Sales. A bushmaster carbine is $900. Here is a link to the gun itself on Bushmaster.

Bushmaster - Home Defense & Recreation Rifles
EDIT:The mag size is 30 not 10 like on Bushmasters' site

Also check out some local gun shops don't buys used unless you know what to look for in a damaged gun, some people love ripping off newer people. For example a junk barrel with messed up rifling. I'll make an AR buyers guide later. But price/quality ratio i would have to say DPMS and Bushmaster never messed with Daniel Defense stuff.
