That's too bad. Our Walmart sporting goods guy is retired military, and a member of Frontsight Firearms institute. He may be in his 60's, but he still knows his stuff..

In my local Wal-Mart today and asked about the only AR they had in stock...Bushmaster with 10 round mag. They did have a Colt and DPMS also about a month ago but they all got pulled from the shelf. They got the Bushmaster back but was only a 10 shot now. I was told they they can't sale the others anymore. I'm in VA and was actually surprised to hear this.

At the Walmarts here in michigan they sell bushmaster and the sig saur m400 moe the sig is priced at right around 900

They had both of those plus the Colt 6920 and DPMS Sportical but they got pulled about 3 weeks ago the sales person said. Pretty sure I was told they can only get/sale the Bushmaster now.

We had DPMS 308 sporter for under $900. I was going to get it; but decided to pass and picked up additional 30.06 boxes of ammo instead.

Walmart does have a layaway plan!

They have guns and ammo in my area of Illinois but the counter worker is always an idiot 20 min to get a hunting and fishing licence .
