Yea that sounds pretty good, I have limited experience with both platforms, but for some reason the sks really appeals to me. Just feels nice.

My AK gets much hotter than my SKS.

It's lighter, and you can dump more rounds through it faster.

IME, the SKS doesn't get any hotter than any other rifle

firing the same amount.

I have a yugo sks and fired 75 rounds through it last time I visited the range got hot but not abnormally fired.amazing and love the gun I just bought the ati super something or other and I really like the look shooting for the first time this weekend with the new stock
