There arent alot of them around, in a teotwawki type situation parts availability would be near non existent. Way over priced for a polymer lower and stock. Not a fan at all. Its cool but no practical at all. Instead of dropping cash on a scar buy a nice piston ar. Just my 2 cents. If your looking at the 17s, buy a springfield m1a or for nearly the same thing cost as buying a 17 at a retail store, get a larue obr

I transferred a .308 Scar in FDE to a client and after finger uh well you know, I'm not that impressed for the price. I'm with WI_Hunter I think if you are going to spend 3k on something get a nice AR and a couple of other firearms to go with it.

Ive posted my SCAR horror stories before..but for 3k its not worth it. 3 barrels/ factory trips and it still wont shoot moa. Do yourself a favor and get a nice ar a ka/larue/lmt will do you fine.

I have a SCAR-17.
it's freakin' awesome!
You can get yourself a nice semi-auto 308 for 1/2 the cost.

If you got to have one, you got to have one!

Mine is so new, I haven't zeroed the scope yet.
Irons work great and came zeroed from factory.
Can only shoot 6" groups at 100 yards so can't
tell you how accurate it is.

BTW, i still have only 1 mag. I can't find them
anywhere. as soon as they are available they are
snapped up before i can hit the add to cart button.
