Default RPD question

Evening all.
A quick question for the RPD experts.
Is the barrel of the Chinese version type 56 rifled or smooth bore?
If it is rifled, how many grooves does it have please?

Without some serious Googling, all I can find is that it has right hand riflings that are 1 turn in 9.45 inches.
