I'd send it back, if at least to have THEM make sure it was the ammo. Those light strikes SEEM heavier than any on unspent rounds I've unloaded from my AR's. But, we can't see them in person either. A 3K gun? Customer service better Kick some Tail, Ya know?

Default Tried to call BM, no answer

I tried to call Bushmaster today about the problem. I was in a call queue for 20 minutes, then an automated message asked to leave my name and number, but then another automated message told me that I could not leave a name and number, because the mailbox is full...

So much for calling.

Tell them that their civilian ACR is firing full auto...that will get their attention.

Bushmaster needs to step up.
I was finally contacted by Bushmaster. The ACR Sales Mgr put me in touch with the gunsmiths. I have received 2 call backs, but I still have not received an RMA#. They acknowledged a problem and agreed to fix it. Now it is just a matter of getting it back to them. I look forward to getting it fixed. I have a bunch of paper that needs holes poked in it...

I was excited to find a reply from a Bushmaster gunsmith in my inbox today. Shortly after that a PREPAID FedEx shipping label was also in my inbox.

It looks like I am almost back in business, any delay now is my own fault...

Thanks for the prepaid label!!

I will update upon the return of my ACR. I am getting excited already!

Default Received ACR back from repair

Here is the official reply from Bushmaster directly from the ticket. It took 2 weeks to get an RMA# and exactly 2 weeks to send, and receive back my rifle from repair.

Repair Notes:
D101.1
D140
ADJUSTED FIRE CONTROL GROUP. BOLT HAD A SMALL CHIP BY CAM PIN. EXCHANGED BOLT ASSEMBLY AS WELL. TEST FIRED OK 90 ROUNDS WITH NO MALFUNCTION.

I have not fired it since receiving it today. I will give a range report this weekend.

Just kidding I think the ACR is a fine weapon. However, I do love me my AK.
