need input on sks
 

So my walther p99c AS has been on consignment for a while now. For whatever reason its not being advertised so I'm thinking its not gonna sell. My buddy offered a trade. An sks in tapco stock with high cap mags and a couple hundred rounds of ammo for the walther with 5 mags.
Would you guys consider this a decent trade or should I just bring the walther somewhere else and see what I can get for it? I put the gun up to help fund my AR build but its not looking promising.

I don't know much about walthers so i have no idea if that's a good trade or not, but if you only wanted to sell it to help fund your AR build i think you'd be better off trying to sell it somewhere else.

Yeah I don't know much about the sks either. I think its a yugo. And I know it functions well. But that's about it. I believe the walther books for about $600.

Imo the SKS is a nice rifle in stock configuration with maybe an extended mag, but I think they are just to heavy to be a 'tactical' rifle

Yeah its definitely a bit heavy. And I think with the ammo its still a bit shy of the value of the walther. But being in ma and having 30 rnd mags and the bayonet It's a tough decision .

If its not what u want then don't do it just get the gun u want if u don't want the sks n try to sell it u won't get 600 for it

Tell him to hack up 100$ with the trade. Better yet, start at 150 then settle for 100 ;)
