Mp40
There's one thing I've always wanted to see. A semi auto MP40 clone.

This is one gun I've always wanted. There's many semi auto copys of different guns. All AK's, all Tommy gun's, Suomi's, FN FAL's, UZI's, Galil's, and many many more. But why not the MP40?

i would think it's because they were so over engineered like everything else they built that it is just too hard and expensive to reproduce when ya can get the same fun in a different package that's already out there.... but I agree I want one more than I'd want a tommy clone

The reason is that there are all of these other guns in semi-auto, is that parts kits are available for each and every one of them. They were imported many years ago and converted and sold as semi-auto weapons. Now an MP40 is difficult to find in full auto let alone a parts kit. I believe none were ever imported as parts kits. As far as the future, don't hold your breath.

Check out the video of the old woman in a wheel chair shooting a MP40. She's one badass grandma.

I agree with you, I would rather have a MP40 than a Tommy clone but I do love them both.
