After I had done the research I was looking for what I thought would be a cheap rifle for longer range; ( besides the one I already use ) that had ammo for a cheaper price like the 7.62mm NATO round. I found out the rifle I wanted SVD Dragunov is extremely rare and expensive. What would be a modern day equivalent that wont break the bank? Of the few sites I checked most don't have one for sale, one site had a price marked at $4,000.
