Are Mac-10 and Tommy Guns legal in a Semi-Automatic version?

Hold on. They are legal in Semi so long as they meet NFA requirements. The "tommy gun" straight civilian version must have greater than a 16" barrel. Anything less (the real 1928's and M1s have less than 16") would have to be registered as a SBR even if they were production semi auto guns.

The correct answer is;
It depends where you live.
You can't buy Mac 10's in Massachusetts anymore and Tommy Guns are outlawed in Connecticut. (BTW, Tommy Guns are now made in Masachusetts)
