There is a certain understated elegance to the M14, much like the 1911 or M60. I'm a huge believer that form should follow function and it's hard to find that anymore.

What are members' opinions on the various M1A / M14 maufacturers?

Specifically the pros and cons (compare and contrast) of Smith Ent., LRB and Springfield.

Any help would be appreciated. I'm planning to purchase in the near future.
