LR308C or AP4
Ok, decided that I want a DPMS rifle. Thought about a .223 and then did some research and decided that I already have a .22 so no need for one on steriods. I'm going with a .308. My only question/decision is whether to go with the 308C (20" barrel about 11lbs, a full size AR type) or their AP4 which gives me an adjustable stock a 16" barrel and is about 3lbs lighter.

I'm sure either one would be nice. I'm sort of leaning towards the C (classic) model but am hesitating because of the weight. Though I'm not doing a forced march with it I'd still like to be able to handle and enjoy it.

Thoughts on these models? I'm lovin' the idea of a .308 in the AR form.

Thanks for any reply's.

hmmmm....20" is too long and heavy, and 16" is too short, maybe too light...

how about....

Not quite
Nice but no deflector, dust cover or FA is no good. I considered that one too until I saw what it was lacking. Thanks for suggesting though.
