My shooting buddy with the AR has NOT had good luck running Wolf .223 in his DPMS AR. His likes PMC.

My SKS isn't picky.

Hopefully RRA has found a way to get 7.62X39 to feed reliably through the AR platform. It's been tried over and over again with poor results. It does look like they have redesigned the lower to allow the curvature required to feed properly. To my knowledge that is a first. The previous attempts have used standard lowers.

I'll give your buddy 10 cents on the dollar for his Wolf .223, my DPMS loves it.

I agree PMC is better, but Wolf makes for great trigger therapy.

Sooo, does it field strip like an AK, or an AR?

This AR/AK controversy may be long from over with...

Ak's don't field strip silly, you just take the rain cover off and spray the mechanisms with aerosol remoil! Lol,but no I would guess it field strips more like an AR seeing as the top end resembles an AR,I didn't see anything that resembles a dust cover. Which is where you would start a field strip on a AK

OOPSIES...

The rifle is probably a great shooter, but, IMHO, one of the major things

which put AKs and SKSs into a class by themselves is

the designs enhance clearing the breech and cleaning the weapon

while standing, moving, in the dark, in the bush...
