Welcome back! To answer your question, some folks in some places are already starting to see ammo being restocked, slowly, and prices coming down on guns and ammo.
It's like the gas prices. Any excuse to blow it way out of proportion, and then slowly ride that orgasmic profit wave back down to almost pre panic levels...
