If so, no worries Mate

You can always jump on the big silver bird, c'mon - it's only a 20+/- hour flight, and join us here in the land of the "quasi" free For now anyway, you could still fulfill your fantasy to own either of those.

Nice choices by the way, even if I would have aimed a little bit higher than the SAR. I have a couple SAR's in the collection, too, SAR-1, -2, and a -3.

I picked up an Arsenal SAM-7, pre-ban with the blonde wood furniture, back when they were still available here. It is one of my prized pieces in the AK collection. The SLR-106F, similar to your top picture, was next on my list, when the election happened here and everything got a little screwy. But I'm still looking, and hopefully will find one of those, and then maybe a SLR-105 (in 5.45).

So keep your sentimental choice fantasies alive, you'll fulfill them one of these days.

Yeah I'm afraid all semi-autos were banned here in 1996 Slo. Now all we have is single-shot bolt actions, 5 round mags max. Thank you John Howard.

(*Currently* handguns are still legal tho, unlike the UK)

You have an awesome collection, by the sound of it! Love to see some if you have pics. Yes I live in hope of fulfilling my fantasy one day, however briefly...

A couple more:

Vepr

And something a bit more uh, traditional

There ya go...much better fantasies there. Nice VEPR and really like the Polish
piece. By the way...here's my VEPR

I've got more pics, just have to transfer them to the new compuker here

The one in that pic has some nice mods done to it - the angle adapter on the back of the receiver to allow other stocks and pistol grips, the Eotech scope, and flash suppressor. I have the AK74 style suppressor for mine, but it just makes them awful loud to anyone shooting next to you. So I took it off.

Well, at least you still get to keep your handguns, so all is not lost...yet. Let's hope that time doesn't come for a long while.

Amen to that, mate. Or else there's goes Australia's IPSC community (the only legal reason we are allowed for handgun use/possession)

So here's hoping the Govt won't go feral on us any time soon!

Hey really like the Vepr. And an AR too...my envy is now official Nice combo!

p.s. - I make no claims to any of the above, as sadly...my collection of but one miniscule itsy-bitsy, hardly could be categorized as a firearm, tragically was the only casualty in a recent boating accident in the Sahara.

But then again...I found these in the neighborhood one day...

Slo

p.s. - again, I make no claims to any of the above, as none of them bare any resemblence to the one and only piece I lost in the afore mentioned boating accident.

and by "nearby" he means over the river, across the valley, in the next county over, behind heavy cover, and praying to the God above.
