Default M16

I have the privilege to carry, work on and shoot as much as I like an M16. Putting 30 round down range is a snap and makes me proud to be an American. Full auto my friends is the sound of freedom.

I've fired plenty full auto, M-4's to Ma Duece. My favorite, the most entertaining was the MK-19.

Ah- but the problem with the M-16, the Uzi, the BAR, or ANY magazine fed weapon- sooner or later, the magazine is empty. And you have to stop and switch mags. But with M-60s, 240's, or a MA Duece, if you have a friend to keep adding belts to the end of belts, you can hold down the trigger until the gun (or your checkbook) explodes into FLAMES !!! (pant pant pant pant)

On night shoots, we used to turn M-60 barrels incandescent YELLOW.

Yup fun, unless you're the one that gets to change the barrels.

The only .45 cal full auto weapon I ever fired was a "greese gun". I would LOVE just 20 minutes with a Thompson. But I must admit that 15 minutes of that time would just be spent "fondeling and drooling"......
