Friend turned me to a good one sig mpx. 6.5 barrel 9.5 fixed muzzle brake doubles as baffles an additional 300 for the sleeve and you got a suppressed carbine. 9mm 357 sig and 40s&w. Looks like a real good contender.

Is it available for civilian sale??

Most of these new smg are le only.

Nm i see there is supposed to be a semi carbine version. But this is like the colt smg and rra carbines as its built off sig's ar15 piston design

Yeah that's what I was gonna say is it's an ar platform you can even see it has an ar charging handle lol. For $2k+ I would rather build my own you could build several of the older smg's from parts kits for the cost of that thing

No not exactly an ar, it has similar controls but its very different. Plus if i wanna add a can to the end it wont add a single inch the the length of the gun.

It would be nice to know what is disliked about the AR platform in pistol caliber. If a Sig will work, why not another brand of AR?

If the complaint is the AR gas system, then it needs to be understood that the gas system doesn't come into play in the pistol cal ARs, which are blow-back operated with a different bolt set-up as well.

One of the nicest setups I've shot was an AR in 9mm with integrally suppressed upper. It used Uzi mags through a semi-permanently mounted mag block/adapter.

I am an MP5 fan, but enjoyed the 9mm AR more.

here you go class III MP5SD for sale http://www.autoweapons.com/photos12/jul/775mp5sd.html if your gonna get one might as well try to go all the way. I am sure there are other manufacturers that will come out with new model SMG's soon if the people want one the whole problem is the barrel length issue no one wants a kriss vector with a 16 inch barrel and most people wont go the extra mile and additional $200 to get an SBR model

How do you figure that it won't add length. You screw any suppressor on the threaded muzzle its going to add length. Unless I'm missing something.

Its also identical except in caliber to their piston ar15. The magwell is sized down and sculpted a bit but its the same gun.

I think he means its a sleeve type suppressor that surrounds the barrel and the muzzle brake on there is designed as additional baffles. Or I could be totally wrong on that lol

Yeah its a sleeve going around the brake, but just found out the gun could be scrapped. Atf regulations say the gun has silencer components. So who knows what will happen
