Default Hi point 45 acp carbine

I picked up a new hi point 45 acp carbine today at the local gun shop. They gave me a pretty good deal. The new model with two mags, fore grip, sling, for 320 otd.

Got to put a 100 rounds threw it today. Functioned flawlessly.

This is my first hi point and speaking that people really like to bag on them I am impressed with it. It is a blast to shoot and pretty damn accurate at 50 yards. I'll post a photo of the target and firearm later when I am on my laptop.

I have a feeling I will be putting many rounds threw it, I will report on how it is holding up after I get 1000 rounds or so threw it.

The target from 50 yards. There is a few 9x18 rounds scattered in the target from the old lady shooting it. I was still adjusting to the sights, but overall I am pretty satisfied.

Good shooting! Amy issues with it? How about a pic?
I think it would be fun and good for home defense if you can trust it.

THE first good thing I heard concerning a HiPoint, but then I will never knock ANY gun. Hell, I even own a Jennings POS. ...and I think they rank lower than a HiPoint.

No issues at all. Most shots were fired at a decent rate of fire, I also ran one rapid fire mag to see if it would jam or FTF, but it just kept going and going. I am very satisfied.

I have a 9mm version of the same carbine. Lots of fun to shoot. I haven't had any issues with it either, probably 500 rounds through it.
I put a cheap Barska reflex sight on it and it hits the same spot over and over.

I saw one for sale at a gun show this past weekend that had a price tag of $298. It looked interesting but after I picked it up the gun seemed a tad too heavy for me personally.
