Default which gun double duty

I am intrested in. Getting a rifle maby an assult rifle type
I already have a handgun and shotgung so I am looking for sompting maby 1000$ or less prefer a 100$ or two less but price is not all that concerns me I want to say go after say. Fox...but still could possably be for my own protection nothing. To long.... could possably scope it if I want thanks for your ideas

I have been considering the Beretta CX4 Storm. It shares ammo & MAGS w/ the 92 & 96 series, and is also available in 45. At $800 cost is the only block for me, I haven't heard anything bad about it.

Sorry, not enough info here for anyone to help much yet. I'd say have a nice talk with yourself and clear up in your mind exactly what you want and then let us know. Write a clear post explaining what you're trying to do and I bet you get a lot of help.

I guess you could say I am looking for a .223 assult type rifle that is reliable and a medium liength barrel that would accept a lot of accesories easily. Added
