i have to throw in a vote for savage they make some awesome rifles for a very affordable price and they are very reliable i have a savage 110 LA in .223 that is my first gun had it since I was 12 and shot more rounds out of it then i can count (also I'll be the first one to admit I didn't take the best care of it when I was a kid) and it has never had any problems no matter what went down range (from cheap wolf ammo to slightly over loaded reloads) it is a tack driver with everything out to 400 yards
