I have a friend who has just ordered a Galil Sport Utility Rifle Through the gun store were i currently work.
Don't know much about them, so i was hoping some of you guys could enlighten me.
How do they stack up against the AK and AR?

The Galil is an upgraded Valmet which is an upgraded AK. The South African R-4 is a licensed copy of the Galil. So much for lineage.

Galils have a very good reputation. AK reliability with better accuracy. Be careful of the Century built ones as the monkeys at Century have been known to totally FUBAR a nocturnal emmision.
