Were I yoou I would just go with the .223. I hunt with it with hornady match cpbt's (copper plated balistic tips), and I can kill deer easy within 250 yards. And any hollow point will kill a coyote. Plus its a geat round for comp. Shooting. Just my $0.02. Hope you find what you want.

Some states have regulations banning the use of 5.56/.223 for hunting.
