OK, saw this FAL L1A1 in a local gun shop, I believe the price was around $1200.00. Chambered in .308. Anybody out there have any information on this weapon?
It looked to me like it would kick the s*!t out of you!

Went back to take a second look and this is a new Century Arms L1A1 with an inch receiver. Very light frame, there's not much rifle there to absorb the .308 recoil. They want 1399.00, I'm waiting for my Remington 700P!

Dune - The old FN FAL's were built around the .308 and they could handle it on full auto. But it was built with heavy wood on the stock and the fore-grip.
I don't know about this particular model though. Looking at the pictures of the model I would agree that it appears to be quite a bit from those grand total of ( 3 ) that I have ever seen....
Other than that, I got nothing for you on this one brother....
