Bushmaster isn't a bad gun if you stay away from the polymers; they just don't have anything that is worth 2700 bucks. For that much, you can :
A. Get a high end AR like some Jon mentioned, with really nice optics.
B. Get a decent AR with multiple uppers.
C. Get a good AR and use the difference to buy a buttload of ammo.
Course, if you gotta have something outside the AR platform,
here is an option that in my opinion is much better quality, and lower cost:

Only 300 bucks?? Wow, I didn't think ANY .22LR was going that cheap.
Good deal if it cycles decently.

its because im using a Marlin 795 .22LR ($150) in a gutted airsoft ACR stock

Alsoo...i had an acr and currently have a scar. Neither one is worth the money.
