Conversion for Saiga
 

I got a quote of 50 bucks for labor for a local shop to do the conversion. I was wondering what I would need to buy to make it a legal conversion and such. All i really want is a bullet guide installed and the trigger moved. I have not purchased it yet, but it will be the 16inch saiga 223.

What parts would I need to do just that, and would that be legal in terms of compliance parts.

IMHO let the shop do the conversion, they are professionals and will be responsible for any screw ups and can handle any unexpected issues.

If you decide to do it, here are some step by step instructions, pick out how far you want to go. Parts and a kit will vary in price where ever you decide to purchase them.

I am definitely letting the shop do it, i just want to see what parts I need so I can shop around for the best deal.

Thats a good price in labor. I wish the shop by me would charge that.

did you ask the shop what they would charge for parts? Unless it's really outrageous I would get the parts thru them since they are doing the work. That way they can stand behind it all, not just the labor.
