I don't know what he is referring to but if it's what I'm thinking of it's not related to inferiority complexes but rather the ability to carry heavy arms. When you see some of the WWII military films it was the big guys 6'+ 250 lbs. that carried the heavy stuff like BAR's and ammo belts for them. I'm not a big guy 5'11", 165 lbs. so running around with a desirable but heavy battle rifle and required ammo is not too good of an option. That's why I like a Mini 14, it's lite and I can carry a lot of high cap loaded magazines.
