The NRA is no safety net. In fact they care less about some gun rights as opposed to others, but that won't stop them from asking you for money every 3 weeks with scare tactics and fear mongering.

You want to stop weapon bans, you vote for ANY person who fits these criteria:

1) Is NOT a career politician

2) supports 2A and is pro Constitution, regardless of party

3) is not an incumbent with a spotty recording of voting

You vote incumbents out, you vote for new blood that are Constitutionally minded and you stop "banking" on stupid groups like the NRA that have grown out of their usefulness.

^^Thumbs up^^

I did get an e-mail from Natchez that states that Federal is going to have a price increase coming May 1st. Keep looking for prices to increase on everything as this economy is ripe for higher than normal inflation. Much of the increases have to do with oil prices.

If I owned a widget shop and some gullable person came to look at widgets, there just might be a widget ban coming soon. Who knows? Some widgets are rare and some widgets make legislators nervous.

The NRA is a joke these days.

That wasn't because of fear of a ban, that was fear of the socialist, piece-of-pelosi that ACORN elected to office.

The key is to get people out and vote. Sending a check to the NRA and thinking you are doing your part is feel good prevention, at best.

Wayne La Pierre made almost $900,000 as a salary in 2004! That does not include all the perks that comes with his "position".

I don't know about you, but $900,000 is a hell of a lot of money that could be better spent in getting people to the polls armed with knowledge instead of paying a guy to ignore the real issues, shake a few hands and write a monthly blog to the converted masses.

I don't think the word hoarders fits in this type of situation, There will be Bans and shortages. Hopefully you'll have the time and cash to remedy the problem. But don't forget you maybe buying all this for Naught, when Big Brother tells every one to turn in their weapons...

Hate to say it but peeps can panic buy all they want but im 99.9% sure that if the government bans something, a "grandfathered in" policy will more than likely not be in the cards just MHO

Sounds like a great fear of loss tactic
