I like mine for it's weight, balance, and carry handle. Mags quickly change from
FMJs to hunting tips. 5.56 is great, because a lot of times you can find
hunting rounds in .223, if nothing in 5.56 is available. You can get a three-
pack of insert adapter which changes a Promag 20 round to a 5/round mag.
Mine's more accurate than I am.
These guys you work with, DNK why they dump on ARs if they don't
own one. How can they know? I say most folks will wind up safe-queening
their AKM, because I own one
and that is where mine ended up.
I would highly recommend getting one with a longer barrel, for hunting,
and if you are serious about game animals, you probably will be looking
to get a scope on there.
