My scar 17 is not as good as a old wood stocked deer rifle. Top hole is 3 shots. Bottom two holes was adjusting the acog during sight-in. 100yds

Groups are way too big on all those for shooting deer...

This is the one that did the top group. I gaurantee it will outshoot any bolt action deer rifle at any range

The reason for the flier was the crappy larue mount shot itself loose I just can't stand those things. Its got a adm qd mount now. I like to use the scope on other rifles now and then.

Beautiful!! That looks very similar to the way I'm gonna build my 6.5 Grendal.

I like mine for it's weight, balance, and carry handle. Mags quickly change from

FMJs to hunting tips. 5.56 is great, because a lot of times you can find

hunting rounds in .223, if nothing in 5.56 is available. You can get a three-

pack of insert adapter which changes a Promag 20 round to a 5/round mag.

Mine's more accurate than I am.

These guys you work with, DNK why they dump on ARs if they don't

own one. How can they know? I say most folks will wind up safe-queening

their AKM, because I own one and that is where mine ended up.

I would highly recommend getting one with a longer barrel, for hunting,

and if you are serious about game animals, you probably will be looking

to get a scope on there.
