I've seen AKs jam a whole helluva lot more often than I've seen ARs jam.

And I've been around a BUTTLOAD more ARs since that's mostly what we use at work.

So what gives? If AR jams are so common and AK jams are so rare, I ought to be seeing AR jams all the time at the range. But I don't.....

What did somebody forget to engage their safety and shoot the dogs front teeth out? Or are we blaming that on the Glock shooters?

Vice VS for me, minus the one 5.56 I heat welded in the barrel, but that happens when ambient temps are pushing 119 and you are in rapid fire mode.

JMHO, ARs are more accurate.

After a while, you get tired of just

pumping rounds downrange mindlessly.

It's somewhat of an evolution, but then

the interesting challenges start to come

into play, such as shooting MOA, hunting,

contests, competition, etc.

Then accuracy becomes more important.

SHTF? Well I wish they'd S or get off the pot,

because they've been proclaiming "SHTF in

ten days!" repeatedly, twice a month, since the 1950s...

Is that blank verse? Poetry is so often absent from our discussions

Lol. There is a lot of fun, and skill to get an AK to shoot accurately.
Ive seen AR come apart, ive seen AKs jam and light on fire. Both are great guns. I prefer one over the other.
Choose one, don't like it, trade it out for the other.
