308 bcg question

Default 308 bcg question

So typically the cam pin is oriented like this when your retaining pin and firing pin are correctly installed, correct?


But the BCG I just got in the mail looks like this.


This being my first 308 build, is this something that's normal for a 308 or did somebody screw up?

I think you are ok. My cmmg 308 is the same way. I was worried about it also but it functions flawless so I don't worry anymore.

My LR-260 BCG is just like that also,on the AR10 style BCG that is just the way they do it.
