1990's colt ar-15
 

Do any of you know a ballpark figure of a colt AR-15 that was produced in the 1990's that came with two 20 round magazines that had been converted to only hold 5 rounds? It has also never been fired and it is in the original box

Is an A-2 model, or "Sporter 2"? Which rear sight. Many of these had A-1 rear sights. Unfired probably worth in the $1500- $2000 range depending on where you are. The rifles are less in demand these days than the carbines.

My dad bought one in the early 90's, colt A2 with 20" barrel. Paid 1700 for it and still has it.
